Welcome 6th Grade Families!!

Welcome to Parkway Sports and Health Science Academy!!!

We are so extremely excited to have you join our school community next year as 6th grade students. Parkway Academy is an amazing school and you are going to LOVE going to school here everyday. We have incredible classes and programs at Parkway Academy that are fun, engaging, and designed to help you prepare for high school. The teachers at Parkway Academy are fantastic – and we work as a team to make Parkway the most welcoming place it can be everyday. We know there is going to be some anxiety as you leave elementary school and come to Parkway, but we are ready to support you all and we know you are going to have a great 6th grade year and middle school career at Parkway!

We also know you probably have a lot of questions. Below we tried to provide as much information as we can for your reference. Please click on the links so you can learn more about Parkway Academy. We will continue to add to our school website all summer and one of the best ways to check out what it is like everyday is to follow us on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/parkwaypatriots/

We are also going to have an informative meeting for incoming 6th grade students and the 6th grade orientation to kick off the 2024-25 school year.

We would love to see you all at both events!

PE Information

6th grade students will all have a PE class with a credentialed PE teacher at Parkway Academy. However, they will not dress out for PE during the 6th grade year. They will start dressing out and using the locker rooms in 7th grade. We know this is a big relief for students and families. PE in middle school is AWESOME!!!
